RPC UK is committed to providing a fair, respectful and inclusive workplace where everyone can contribute and succeed. We value diversity in all its forms and treat people with dignity, professionalism and respect.

Our approach is guided by the principles of ISO 30415 (Diversity & Inclusion), helping us build an environment where people feel valued and supported. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, job applicants and anyone working on behalf of RPC.

Equal Opportunities

RPC provides equal opportunities regardless of age, disability, gender, gender identity, marital or civil status, pregnancy or maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic. Employment decisions are made on merit, capability and organisational need. Discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation are not tolerated.

Inclusive Culture and Behaviour

Everyone at RPC is expected to act with respect and professionalism. An inclusive environment is created through everyday behaviours: listening openly, considering different perspectives and ensuring people feel able to participate fully. If behaviour falls short of these expectations, individuals should raise concerns promptly so they can be addressed.

Recruitment, Development and Progression

Recruitment and selection processes are designed to be fair, transparent and free from bias. We aim to attract talented people from a wide range of backgrounds and ensure applicants are assessed consistently. Development, training and progression opportunities are made available on an equitable basis, and decisions are based on performance, skills and future potential.

Reasonable Adjustments and Support

RPC will make reasonable adjustments to support individuals with disabilities, long-term health conditions, caring responsibilities or specific religious or cultural needs. Employees are encouraged to discuss their requirements so that appropriate support can be considered.

Dignity at Work

Everyone has the right to work in an environment free from harassment or intimidation. Any form of unwanted behaviour that violates dignity or creates a hostile working environment will be addressed quickly and fairly. Employees are encouraged to speak up early if they experience or witness inappropriate behaviour.

Responsibilities

All employees and contractors must uphold this policy through their actions and interactions. Leaders are responsible for promoting an inclusive culture and ensuring concerns are handled sensitively and appropriately. The Managing Director oversees organisational commitments to equality, diversity and inclusion and ensures practices are reviewed and improved over time. Review This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if legislation or best practice changes.
