Another Year Certified: RPC Achieves Cyber Essentials Plus for 2026

Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification within the Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme, administered by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Achieving the certification requires organisations to undergo an independent technical assessment, with systems, devices and security controls rigorously tested against a range of common cyber threats.

This year's assessment marked a significant milestone, as it was completed in partnership with our new IT provider, Trinity. As with any transition, there were additional challenges to overcome, from aligning different approaches to resolving legacy software issues. Despite this, the team worked tirelessly to ensure every requirement was met and every issue addressed.

A special thank you goes to our fantastic technical support team, Chris Callaghan, Steven Rushworth and Sam Brown, whose dedication and responsiveness were instrumental in the successful completion of the assessment. Over the final stages of the process, they worked through a series of urgent actions and technical requirements, ensuring everything was completed efficiently and to the required standard.

Cyber security remains a critical priority for RPC and for the sectors we support. Our work with organisations across industries including government, defence, infrastructure and energy means maintaining robust security standards isn't simply good practice - it's essential. Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus provides independent verification that our security controls are effective and that we continue to protect against the most common cyber threats facing organisations today.
