Where are you based?
I am based in Manchester.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I was born in Jos, Plateau State, right in the heart of Nigeria, before relocating to the UK with my family in 2004 and settling in Kettering, Northamptonshire - again finding myself slap bang in the middle of the country. I later went on to study Aerospace Technology at the University of Hertfordshire, graduating in 2018, and continued my academic journey with a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, which I completed at the University of Leicester in 2020.

How has your career path brought you to RPC?
Before joining RPC, I worked at a cinema during my university years, which sat alongside my studies. After graduating, I moved into the project management consultancy space, where I began developing my experience as a Project Planner. During this time, I spent a significant amount of time on client sites supporting, upskilling and advising Project Managers and PMOs, as well as sharing knowledge with colleagues internally. Through this work, I became increasingly aware of RPC and, as my interest in training continued to grow, moving into a Training Consultant role here felt like a natural next step.
What attracted you to RPC?
What initially attracted me to RPC was the employee‑owned aspect of the business. Coming from a more corporate background, this was something completely new to me. The idea of being part‑owner of a company - of genuinely having a stake in something I contribute to every day - and helping to grow it alongside the wider team really stood out and felt like a refreshing and meaningful way to work.
What are you working on right now?
At the moment, I’m focused on delivering training, with a particular emphasis on developing and running bespoke training sessions for our clients. This involves tailoring content to suit specific project environments and requirements, ensuring delegates get practical, relevant takeaway skills they can apply straight away. Whether these sessions are delivered in person or online, I’m enjoying working closely with clients to support their teams and address their individual training needs.
What do you like best about your job?
What I enjoy most about my role is the people. On average, I get to meet between five and ten new delegates every week, both in the classroom and online, from all corners of the world. I really value the opportunity to share my own experiences of planning and working with Primavera P6, while also learning from others and hearing about their projects, challenges and journeys. That regular exchange of knowledge - not just about planning, but about life in general - is something I find incredibly rewarding.

What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time, football is a huge passion of mine - you’ll usually find me either watching a match or keeping up with the latest fixtures. Alongside that, I enjoy trying out new restaurants whenever I get the chance. More recently, I’ve also taken up swimming, so I’m spending more and more of my downtime in the pool and enjoying the challenge of something new.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a child, I had two clear ambitions: to be a starting centre midfielder for Nigeria and Chelsea, or to join G‑Unit. Football was a big passion of mine growing up, and while those dreams didn’t quite pan out, the enthusiasm certainly stuck.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
“What’s the worst that can happen?” and “Attitude will get you further than talent.”
What’s on your desk?
My desk is usually home to my laptop, a potted plant, a bottle of water, and plenty of scattered bits of paper covered in scribbles from past training sessions.
How do you like your tea?
Herbal.

Dog or cat?
Dogs for me.
If your house was on fire, what 3 things would you save?
Everything is replaceable but my phone would definitely need to be saved.
What would your superpower be?
The ability to fly.
